Abstract

Objective To observe the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and the degree of mucous membrane irritation of the complex prescription of longkui suppository. Methods The anti-inflammatory effects were detected by the mouse ear swelling test. The analgesic effects were detected by mouse writhing response. The mucous membrane irritation was detected by the rabbit vaginal mucosa irritation test. Results The complex prescription of longkui suppository could significantly inhibit mouse ear swelling, reduce the number of writhing produce no obvious rabbit vaginal mucosa irritation. Conclusion The complex prescription of longkui suppository has good anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and is safe for vaginal administration.
