Clinical Research on Fresh Amnion Transplantation to Cure Acute Eye Burn

Purpose To research the treatment technique and curative effect of fresh amnion transplantation on the curing of acute serious eye burn. Methods 25 eyes of 20 consecutive in patients were selected in this study. Simple amnion transplantation were accepted in 16 eyes and combined with self conjunctiva transplantation in 9 eyes, which followed up for 12 to 24 months and outer eyes and vision were evaluated. Results All 25 eyes were reconstructed well without corneo conjunctival dissolve or perforation, without fibro vascular immersion beside 2 cases. Conclusion Fresh amnion transplantation can used in serious eye burn effectively.
