The Relation Between the Expression of C-erbB-3/HER3 and Prognosis in Lung Adenocarcinoma

Objective To study the relationship between the expression of C erbB 3/HER3 and clinicopathological charcteristics and prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma.Methods The expression of C erbB 3/HER3 in 23 cases of lung adenocarcinoma tissues,15 cases adjacent tissues and 10 cases of normal lung tissues were detected by immunohistochemical method.Results Weak expression of C erbB 3/HER3 were shown in nomal lung tissues.There were a higher by higher tendency between adjuvant and tumor tissues,clinical stage Ⅰ-ⅢA and stage ⅢB-Ⅳ,pathological grade Ⅰand Ⅱ+Ⅲ.The survial time of overexpression group was relatively shorter than weak expression group( P 0 05).Conclusions C erbB 3/HER3 receptor protein may be plays a certain role in growth of lung tissue and initiatation and developing of lung adenocarcinoma.It may be a indictor for predicting the survival time of lung adenocarcinoma patients.
