Abstract
Aim: To investigate the expression of C-erbB-2 protein in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissue and its clinical significance. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining method was used to detect the expression of C-erbB-2 in 10 cases of normal lung tissue and 42 cases of NSCLC tissue. Results: The positive expression rate of C-erbB-2 in NSCLC tissue was higher than that of the normal lung tissue (P0.05). The positive rate of C-erbB-2 in adenocarcinoma was 65.0%(13/20), higher than that in squamous cell carcinoma (31.8%(7/22)) (P0.05). The expression of C-erbB-2 was positively correlated with histological grade and lymph node metastasis (P0.05).Conclusion: The detection of C-erbB-2 protein is helpful to diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of NSCLC.
