Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical significance of overexpression of C-erbB-2 oncogene in lung adenocarcinoma. Methods:The expression of C-erbB-2 of 52 cases with lung adenocarcinoma were detected by immunohistochemistry and were com pared with other prognosic markers. Results:The positive rate of C-erbB-2 was 53. 8% (28/52). The overexpression of C-erbB-2 was correlated colsely with the lymph node metastasis and clinical staging, but had no relationship with the size of tumor. Conclusion: The overexpression of C-erbB-2 can suggest poor prognosis of the patients with lung adenocarcinoma.
