Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effects of unwrapping hydroxyapatite(HA) orbital implant.Methods 22 cases of unwrapping hydroxyapation orbital implant were performed.Some details of surgical techniques were improved during operation and after operation.The follow-up period was three to seventeen months.Results After operation,all 22 eyes had minor lid and conjunctival edema,orbital pain.Two cases had conjunctival incision re-opening.After the treatment,two patients were recovery.At the end of follow-up,no case with implant exposure,extrusion or infection was found.Conclusion Hydroxyapation orbital implant with suture has good clinical effect.
