Abstract
Objective Orthogonal design method was used to optimize the extraction technology of total polysaccharides from mulberry seeds. Methods Protein in mulberry seeds was removed with the Sevag method, extraction yield of total polysaccharides from mulberry seeds as evaluation index, the best extraction conditions were optimized on the basis of single-factor test with orthogonal experiment. Results The optimum extraction conditions were concluded as follows: extraction time 2.0 h,extraction temperature 80 ℃,solvent-solid ratio 12:1.Conclusion The method developed here is efficient, stable, accurate and repeatable, suitable for industrial production.
