Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of tiotropium bromide in treating COPD patient at stable stage.Methed: 25 patients with COPD were randomly divided into 2 groups, patients in experimental group were treated with tiotropium bromide and those in control group were treated with conventional therapy,The spiromerty was conducted at before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.Result: Compared with the control group,Forced expiratory volum in second(FEV1),Forced vital capacity(FVC) were significantly increased after treatment in the tiotropium groups(p0.01).The major adverse event in the tiotropium groups was dry mouth(4%).Conclusion: Tiotropium bromide can effectively improve lung function and clinical symptoms in COPD patient.
