The Development of Rural Doctors in Anhui Province: Present Situations,Problems and Suggestions

Rural doctors take great responsibility for the health of residents in China's vast rural areas. The overall number of doctors in Anhui rural areas has increased,but the reception capacity is relatively limited. With low income and pension benefits, rural doctors do not want to stay at the grassroots level and take occupational risk. We should actively extend contracted services for rural doctors,establish risk-sharing mechanisms,optimize the structure,relax the requirement of rural doctors' passing certificate exams,and improve the compensation and pension policies. All are important measures to strengthen the team building of rural doctors in Anhui province.
