Abstract
One strain of virus was isolated from the neonatal pig of a farm in Guangxi. The virus was adapted to propagate in PK-15 cell and resulted in cytopathogenic effect (CPE). Pseudorabies viruses were observed under electronic microscope and the inoculated rabbits showed classical clinical signs when challenged with the culture. With the special primer, the gp50 about 217bp was obtained by PCR. According to the above results, this isolated virus is a pig pseudorabies virus.
