Abstract
About 187 serum samples from 6 pig farms in some regions of Shaanxi province were detected with the gE-ELISA Kit which can distinguish the vaccination from wild-type virus infection, and porcine pseudorabies virus was isolated from the purtenance and brain of a 2-day-old pig and then the virus was identified microbiologically. The results showed that the average positive rate was 28.76%,the highest gE-antibody of wild-type PRV was 48.98% and the lowest was 0;It infected PK-15 cell line and caused it to shrink, aggregate, and detach from the culture system in 20 h approximately, and the inoculated rabbits showed classical clinical signs when challenged with the culture and positive material. Then the specific 612 bp bands by PCR of the isolated virus were obtained. These data indicate that the isolated virus was PRV and referred to as WG strain in this report.
