Abstract
In this paper, germination characteristic of the seeds was studied with P.maximowi-ofi.With a view to find the most suitable seed storage and germination conditions so that provide the scientific and theoretical basis for storage sowing, introduction and application of breeding and landscape application. The results showed that seeds of P.maximowiofi were small and the weight of thousand seeds was(0.148±0.006) g;Low temperature(5 ℃) storage condition was more easily to maintain viability and longer life of the seeds.Seeds could be maintained 8~9 months; The optimum temperature of seed germination was at 20 ℃.By 200 mg·L-1 gibberellic acid(GA) treatment, the germination rate was the highest and germination was uniform.
