Study on Germination Characteristics of Primula oreodoxa Franch Seeds

The seeds germination experiments were conducted to study the effects of the temperature,light and GA3 on the seeds germination of Primula oreodoxa Franch.Meanwhile,the external morphological characters of seeds were observed.The results showed as follow:Seeds were small,tawny in colour,irregular oval or more surface shape,and the 1000-seed weight was 89.52±0.25mg.The optimal temperature was 20℃,the seeds germination was sensitive to light.The seed germination percentage remained higher and the germination process was faster.GA3 treatment could short the germination process,but it had no effect on the seeds germination percentage and germination vigor.
