Abstract

ANSYS was used to create parameterized finite element model of heavy truck frame.frame modal analysis was maked in unconstrained state to calculated the top ten natural frequencies and corresponding modals, then compared the result with external excitation frequency of the truck, and discussed the situations of the frame may happen resonance. Finally, using ANSYS to improve fifth-order natural frequency as optimization design target,so that the frame has a better dynamic characteristics.
