Abstract
This paper introduces a method based on the Signal Processing Toolbox of MATLAB to design the digital filter effectively. To design the digital filter, it can be programmed by MATLAB language and designed by the FDATool interface. Particular steps of the two ways are given in this paper. Using this method, the parameters can be adjusted according to the design request and characteristics of filter momentarily. It reduces a lot of computation and is good for the optimization of filter design. The filter simulation based on Simulink under the condition of MATLAB is also introduced in this paper.
