Abstract
Digital filter is one of the most important parts of digital signal processing.A design method for digital filter based on MATLAB was developed.The paper introduces the design method of the digital filter by an example of the design FIR digital filter. The simulation shows that the designed results can meet the requirements very well.The design process based on MATLAB is very simple and practical.
