Abstract
This paper presents a method of designing IIR filter effectively based on the Signal Processing Toolbox of MATLAB. The method of being programmed by MATLAB language and designed by the FDATool interface is given to design a digital filter, and the filter simulation based on Simulink is also introduced in this paper. Using these methods, the parameters can be adjusted according to the design request and characteristics of filter can be compared momentarily. Thus, a lot of computation is reduced and the efficiency is enhanced.
