Abstract
Objective To evaluate the application of endoscope in vitrectomy for tretment of pseudophakic retinal detachment. Methods Vitrectomy with microendoscopy were undergone in 32cases(32eyes) in pseudophakic retinal detachment. The rate of retinal reattachment, new retinal hole, visual acuity and complication were analyzed. The follow-up time was 6~62.8 months. Results Retinal reattchment was achieved in 29 eyes(90.7%) after initial analyzed. Finally retina was total reattachment in 30 eyes(93.7%);Six months after operation, the corrected visual acuity was:0.5 in 4 eyes,0.3~0.5 in 5 eyes,0.1~0.2 in 12 eyes,0.02~0.05 in 9 eyes, light sensation to counting fingers in 2 eyes;During operation, retinal hole were identified in 6 eyes who were never disco vered retinal hole before operation and new retinal holes were found in 6 eyes of 26 eyes, which the rate of new retinal holeswas 20%.The IOP in 10 eyes were high after operation, among which 9 eyes kept normal by using anti-glaucoma medicine within 2~33 weeks.Intraocular lens dislocation were found in 2 eyes. Conclusions Vitrectomy with microendoscopy not only can find new retinal hole, but also can avoid anterrior proliferative vitreoretinopathy by fully cutting peripheral vitreous, which can increase the rate of retinal reattachment.
