Therapeutic Effects of Fuzheng Xiezhuo Baoshen Decoction on Pacients with Chronic Renal Failure with Azotemia

Abstract

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Fuzheng Xiezhuo Baoshen(FZXZBS)decoction on chronic renal failure.Method:A total of 77 patients with chronic renal failure were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 39 patients in treatment group,the others in control group.Patients in the control group treat with western medicine and patients in the treatment group treat with western medicine coupled with FZXZBS decoction for 3 months to respectively observe the changes in the level of Scr,BUN and Ccr of each group before and after treatment.Result:The total clinical effective rate of treatment group was 87.2% and the rate of control group was 68.4%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Compared with the control group,the renal function in the treatment group had remarkable improved after treatment.Conclusions:The combination of FZXZBS decoction and western medicine could protect the renal function and inhibit the progress of CRF significantly.
