Efficacy Observation of 50 Cases of Chronic Renal Failure Treated by Fuzheng Quzuo Therapy

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuzheng Quzhuo(strengthening antipathogenic qi and removing the turbid)therapy in Chinese medicine on renal failure at early and medial stages.Methods 90 cases of chronic renal failure were randomly divided into control group(40 cases)and treatment group(50 cases).In control group,western medicine conventional therapy was applied.In treatment group,on the basis of symptomatic treatment,oral administration of decoction and enema of Chinese medicine were applied.The changes in symptoms,renal function and hemoglobin were observed before and 2-month after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 85% in Chinese medicine group,which was superior to that in control group(P0.05).No apparent toxicity and side effects were discovered.Conclusion Fuzheng Quzhuo therapy in Chinese medicine achieves the improvement and efficacy on renal failure definitely.
