A research on methods and applications of choosing regional cominant industry ——a case about choosing regional dominant industry of Shaanxi province

Miyohiko Shinohara's two standards and Interrelevant effects have provided theory basis of the choice of regional dominant industries, but the unilateralism existed differently.This paper improved the two theories and adapted them to the choice of dominant industries of Shaanxi province. After the standard of regional relative advantages,the principle of income elasticity, the standard of productivity rising and the association of industries had been analyzed,and the data had been disposed,the dominant industries were decided.Consequently,it will be a base on which the regional industry polices for Shaanxi province can be properly established.
