Positive Analysis on Choosing Dominant Industries of Hebei Province

The paper first introduces the principle for choosing dominant industries,then analyzes the industries of Hebei province from the three aspects of the rate of output values,demand-income elasticity and the rate of labor production,and determines the dominant industries of Hebei province according to different standards.At last,by synthesizing the results from three standards,the paper determines eight industries as the dominant industries of Hebei Province including ferrous metallurgy,agricultural and subsidiary products processing and special equipment manufacturing,etc.According to the result,the reasons for these industries to become the dominant industries of Hebei province are analyzed,and some countermeasures are put forward on the healthy development of these dominant industries.
