Abstract
Objective To analyse the influence of posterior angle intraocular lenses(IOL) on posterior capsular opacification(PCO) after phacoemulsification. Methods 211 eyes with age-related cataract which had received phacoemulsification were divided into three groups according to the kinds of IOL: the SKY group used anterior 10 degree angle IOL,the AO group used tilted zero angle IOL,and the FLEX group used posterior 5 degree angle IOL.PCO was observed at 1,3 and 6 months after surgery. Results The incidence of PCO in FLEX group was lower than that of the other two groups, but there were no statistical differences among these groups. Conclusion The posterior angle IOL has no obvious difference from conventional IOL on PCO.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
