Abstract
Objective To observer the therapeutic effect of internal and external curation with the herbal medicine on active ulcerative colitis (UC).Methods60 cases with ulcerative colitis were divided into the treatment group and the control randomly.The treatment group was given Gegenqinlianwutang decoction for oral administration and to hold enema.The control group was given Sulfasalazine enteric-coated tablets.ResultsGegenqinlianwutang decoction could decrease the scores of TCM dominant syndromes.The whole effective rate in the treatment was obviously better than in the control group,the difference was significance (P0.05).ConclusionGegenqinlianwutang decoction has obvious effect on ulcerative colitis.
