Clinical Observation of Internal and External Curation with Gegenqinlianwutang Decoction on Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract

Objective To observer the therapeutic effect of internal and external curation with Gegenqinlianwutang decoction on ulcerative colitis.Methods 83 cases with ulcerative colitis were divided into the treatment group(n=43) and the control(n=40) randomly.The treatment group was given Gegenqinlianwutang decoction for oral administration and to hold enema.The control group was given Salazosulfa pyridine.One month for each course.The effect was observed after three months.Results The total effective rate in the treatment was better than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The herbal medicine Gegenqinlianwutang decoction has obvious effect on ulcerative colitis.
