Abstract
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of high frequency oscillatory ventilation on premature infants with respiratory distress syndrome(RDS).MethodWe assigned 98 infants with NRDS entry the study. They were randomly devided into high frequency oscillatory ventilation(HFOV) group and conventional mechanical ventilation(CMV) group. The blood gas analysis, time of breathing machine, oxygenation index and aeropleura were detected and compared between the two groups.ResultsThe HFOV group with the levels of the blood gas analysis, oxygenation index were higher than the CMV group(P0.05).The attack rate of aeropleura, chronicity pulmonary disease in the HFOV group was lower than the CMV group(P0.05).ConclusionIn the treatment of premature neonates with RDS,HFOV has a better pulmonary oxygenation and lower air leak than the CMV.
