Express the Mighty Strength of Life in Lonesome and Tranquil Contemplation——A Dissertation on Chang Yao’s the Side View of Snow-capped Eriduo Mountain

Life is the overall theme of Chang Yao’s poetry. Presenting life is the fundamental objective and underlying logic of all of Chang Yao’s poetry. Chang Yao presented his fundamental understanding of the notion, standpoint and emotions of life by his delicately selected imagery of life, and moulded them into some real and persistent images. The article focuses on the poem by Chang Yao in 1962. He wrote this poemat the early stage of his professional life as a poet. Though, failed to attract much attention, the poem set the basic tune of the emotions and spiritual dimensions of his later works. It was a vehicle for presenting the spirit of life. More so is it a forceful affirmation of the essence of life.
