Abstract
Objective To establish the mice model of vaginal Candidias albican dysbacteriosis.Method The mice were given intravaginally 30 μL of metronidazole suspension(12.5 mg/mL) for five days, then inoculated intra-vaginally with 30 μL of Candida albicans suspension(1×108 CFU/mL) for five days. After treatment the vaginal fluids were quantified by culture, and vaginal tissue was observed by electron microscope.Result The amounts of Candidias albican increased significantly and the amounts of Lactobacillus decreased significantly in the model group(P0.01).There were typical symptoms such as vaginal swell, clumpish secretion and congestive vaginal mucous membrane in the model group. Conclusion The persistent vaginal colonization with Candidias albican induced by administration of metronidazole was established in mice.
