Study on the sedative and hypnotic effects of Qingfeng capsule

Abstract

Objective:to study the sedative function of Qingfeng Capsule.Methods:observe the abirritative and hypnotic function of Qingfeng Capsule through experiment on rats' voluntary movements and trails on repose,as well as the time of repose induced by subdose of Pelltobarbitalum Natricum.Results:three doses(under-dose 1.0,middle-dose 2.0,upper-dose 4.0) of Qingfeng Capsule could distinctively cut down rats' voluntary movements,curb the increased excitation of rats induced by Morphine,increase the number of rats that induced to repose by subdose of Pelltobarbitalum Natricum,and obviously lengthen the time of repose.Conclusion:Qingfeng Capsule has a function of sedation and hypnosis,and shows a relation between dose and efficiency.
