Abstract

[Objective] To detect the clinical significance of changes of serum IL-6,TNF and VEGF levels after treatment in 98 patients with lung cancer.[Methods] Serum IL-6,TNF(with RIA)and VEGF(with ELISA)contents were determined both before and after treatment in 76 patients with lung cancer as well as in 60 controls.[Results] Before treatment,serum IL-6,TNF and VEGF levels in the patients were significantly higher than those in the controls(P 0.01).[Conclusion] The changes of levels of serum IL-6,TNF and VEGF were closely related to the disease status and was of prognostic value in lung cancer.
