Changes of serum TNF and IL-8 levels and the clinical significance in patients with uterine cancer

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical significance of determination of serum TNF and IL 8 levels in patients with uterine cancer.Methods Serum concentration of TNF,and IL 8 from 32 cases of uterine cancer and 35 normal controls were tested by radio immune assay.Results The levels of TNF and IL 8 in uterine cancer were significantly higher than those in normal controls( P 0.01).Conclusion Detection of TNF and IL 8 levels in patients with uterine cancer might be of clinical values for evaluating therapeutic effect and prognosis.
