Abstract
It is one important method to improve the catalytic activity of solid acid catalyst supported on SiO2.activity.Four kinds of ZrO2/SiO2 catalysts have been synthesized by impregnation and co-precipitation methods. The catalytic activities of the solid acid catalysts have been characterized by esterification of isobutyl acetate. The results indicated that the catalytic activities of the solid acid catalyst synthesized by impregnation method has more higher than that synthesized by co-precipitation method. The esterification ratio reach more than 90%,when the reaction time is 2.5h,the mass ratio of solid acid catalyst is 1.5%,the molar ratio of Zr/Si in the catalyst synthesized by impregnation is 0.18.
