Abstract
Objective To study the antibacterial action of Jiulinggao. Methods Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) were observed by different concentration of Jiulinggao in nutrient agar medium and nutrient bouillon medium; To observe the antibacterial action of Jiulinggao in vivo in scalded rabbits' skin with infection. Results 1) The MIC and MBC of Jiulinggao are 2.0%~3.0% and 3.0%~6.0% respectively. 2) The result in experimental animal shows Jiulinggao has good antibacterial and anti-infective action. Conclusion Jiulinggao possesses bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect at different degree In vivo and in vitro.
