The study on the bacterial vaginosis in Luzhou area

Objective:To understand the incidence and causes of bacterial vaginosis(BV).Methods:BV of 3 443 patients with vaginitis fungal was detected by fast detection ways,while the vaginal cleanliness,the infection of mold and trichomonas vaginalis were observated by the direct smear method using saline.The incidences of BV in difference groups were analyzed.Results:The incidence of BV in patients with vaginitis fungal(38.11%,1 312 / 3 443) was significantly higher than that in patients with mold(20.88%,719/3 443).and with trichomonas vaginalis(3.60%,124/3 443)(P0.005).The incidence of BV in ≤20 years old,21~30 years old,31~40 years old,41~50 years old and 50 years old age was respectively 39.69%,41.02%,40.10%,34.84% and 20.25%,the incidence of BV in 50 years old group was lowest(P0.05),there were no significant difference amoung other age groups(P0.05).The incidence of BV in vaginal cleanliness Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ and Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ were 44.09% and 30.98%.In BV patients,the incidence of mold infection was 22.56%(296 / 1 312),and trichomonas vaginalis infection was 5.49%(72 / 1 312).Conclusion:BV is main in vaginitis in Luzhou area,there are some cases with mold and trichomonas vaginalis infections.The incidence of BV relates with ages and vaginal cleanliness.
