Abstract
Objective:To investigate the prevalence of female vaginitis in Xiamen recently, discuss the effects of age and season on the occurrence of vaginitis and etiology distribution. Methods:A total of 13102 vaginal discharge samples from women outpatients were detected by the routine examination combined with BV 3-in-1 test. Results:Among 13102 cases, the positive rate of Bacterial Vaginitis(BV),Candida mycoderma bacteria and trichomonas were 9.0%,10.4% and 1.2%;The BV positive rate of the patients whose cleanness between Ⅲ~Ⅳ was significantly higher than that in the patients whose cleanness between Ⅰ~Ⅱ(P0.001);The patients between 20~39 years old were at high risk for vaginitis, the major pathogens were Candida mycoderma bacteria and BV.Detection rate of BV,Candida mycoderma bacteria, trichomonas and BV combining with Candida mycoderma bacteria were significantly different among five seasons(χ29.488,P0.05),all kinds of vaginitis detection rates were highest in summer. Conclusion:Candida mycoderma bacteria and BV are the major pathogenic infectious reasons, meanwhile, the women in childbearing age were at the high risk for vaginitis,it also should be paid more attention to the control of vaginitis in summer.
