Abstract

Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi is one of the valuable medical fungi. The authors studied the production of polysaccharide and mycelia growth of Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi in the submerged culture. The peptone, yeast extraction, ammonium sulfate, nitric acid magnesium were used as the nitrogen source. The results showed that yeast extract was the best carbon source. We got more extra-cellular polysaccharide and the highest dry matter weight of mycelia.
