Abstract
Water pollution has deteriorated the water quantity available. Based on the monitor data of water quality during 1982~1999, the spatio-temporal changes of water quality levels and four typical contaminations, for example DO, NH_3-N, index of Permanganate and BOD_5, are analyzed, and some reasons are brought forward, then the rules of spatio-temporal changes of water pollution during 1982~1998 have been found. At last, taking examples of water in Feb. and Aug. of 1998, the joint assessment of water quality and water quantity in the stations in main channel of the Yellow river has been maken.
