Abstract
Objective:To explore the application of early enteral nutrition for patients with esophageal cancer after operation and the clinical effect. Methods:The nasointestinal tube was set in the operation for 118 patients with esophageal cancer, early enteral nutrition therapy was given after operation. Results:The nasointestinal tube was set smoothly in all the patients.Enteral nutrition was terminated in 2 cases because of heavier gastrointestinal reaction and cervical anastomotic leakage, the remaining patients were successfully given enteral nutrition therapy. After operation, pulmonary infection, anastomotic leakage, wound infection rate in the patients were less than the traditional nutritious, there was no death. Conclusion:Early enteral nutrition is an economic and safe method, which can reduce the incidence rate of pulmonary and wound complications, and can promote bowel movements, reduce length of stay and hospitalization costs,it is worth for clinical use.
