Abstract
The Grey interrelative analysis showed that,among the traits of fiber quality,the index of spinning uniformity is a leading factor that affects 2.5%-span length,uniform and strength;2.5%-span length is a leading factor affecting Micronaire;and strength is a leading factor affecting the index of spinning uniformity.Among the yield characters,boll weight is a leading factor affecting boll numbers;lint index is a leading factor affecting boll weight,lint percentage and seed index;and seed index is a leading factor affecting lint index.The restoring menstrual analysis indicated that uniformity and lint percentage play the most comprehensive and direct role in the lint yield.The canonical correlation analysis showed that increasing boll numbers per plant could improve yield and fiber quality,but more attention should be paid to better boll-setting time and position in order to get as more as higher quality bolls.
