Abstract

Effects of different ecological environment on cotton yield and yield components were studied. Results showed that variability coefficients of the boll number per plant were the biggest under different ecological environment.Correlative degree analysis indicated that boll weight was the leading factor restricting the boll number;lint index was one of the major factors that affected boll weight, lint percentage and seed index;seed index was the primary factor restricting lint index. Results of path analysis showed that boll number had greatest comprehensive and direct influence on lint yield.Partial correlation analysis indicated that the yield contributing rate of three yield component characters(boll number per plant, seed cotton weight per single boll and lint percentage) were 77.16 %,which basically reflected the structure situation of yield components.
