Grffin, a post-modernist thinker, has distinctive characteristics compared with other post-modernist scholars. He inherited the ideas of constructive post-modernist which built up the new world outlook in order to opposed to modernism. He attached more importance to the solution of the problem from its root. He put forward pan-empiricism, the theory of organic integrity and ecological scientific views. His theories were significant to scientism and humanist problems in modern time.
