Abstract

One of the important contents of the criticism of the May 4th new culture mevement by Xue-heng School is on the trend of scientism thought, which is not only for its thinking reasons, but also for its specific reality reasons. Xue-heng School concentrates its criticism on Dewey's philosophy, educational ideas and its influence with culture circles and educational world of China.
