The History of the Body and the Researches on Modern China

In recent years,the research on the history of the Body has begun an effective way to re-examine the historical process with the body gradually becoming the remarkable focus of contemporary studies.As the rise of the history of the Body is a part of contemporary cultural reflection and the theoretical innovation,it must be able to deepen our understanding of past history in terms of its advanced theory and multidisciplinary integration.At present,there have been fruitful works in the compositions of overseas scholars as well as in Taiwan about the history of the Body,but the mainland scholars of China have not yet attracted enough attention to this point.Unlike the studies on Chinese Body history which consists in the range of the medical social history in the domestic and overseas academic circles,Hwang Jinlin who is from Taiwan province has devoted himself to approach the relations among modern bodies,the politics and the society,as well as physical conditions in the historical context of the current situation.This has established a new paradigm of social history and political history of the body.In addition,the strength and weakness of the history of the body to interpret the historical process is also an essential problem.
