A Tentative Suggestion for the Research on Body History

Body has been one of the “New Lands”of Western humanities and social sciences since the 1970s and 1980s.Scholars in philosophy,anthropology,religion,feminism and etc.have been interested in this field and devoted themselves to the continuous research on the theoretical explorations.History inevitably became one of the waves of different disciplines which pay their great attention to body and resulted in many scholarly works.Concerning the research on body history in history circle of contemporary China,five aspects should be developed,including the research on body physical organs,functioning of the organs,concerns about lives,perspectives on the body and comprehensive body history.Based on past study experience,those five aspects are only assumption and consideration brought forwarded by the author.The definite research conception of body history depends on the full development and fruitful research results of this field.
