Performance Study of the Cross-Strait Trade to the Development of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Straits

The study result indicates that the cross-strait economy and trade have an important role on the development of the economic zone on the west coast of the Taiwan Straits. Currently,the cooperation of the cross-strait economy and trade is confronted with some problems such as system bottleneck. Therefore,we ought to build a cooperation mechanism for economy and trade between both sides of the Taiwan Straits,in order to promote the sustainable development of the cross-strait economic trade cooperation.
