Current Status of the Development on the Theory and Technology of Water Saving Irrigation

The shortage of water resources day by day is a global problem. The water saving in agriculture has more potential. From long run, developing water saving irrigation has great significance in relaxing the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources in our country. Through the introduction of the progress of theory and research on water saving irrigation, the thesis put forward the problems to be noticed in developing water saving irrigation in northwest region. 
