Abstract
Objective The reaction condition between norfloxacin and alizarin red has been studied spectrophotometrically in water solution with a satisfactory result. Methods The apparent molar absorptivity is 5.03×10~3L/(mol·cm) at 530nm. Results The medical concentration accord with the Beer's law which is 3~60mg/L and the RSD is 1.3%(n=6). Conclusions The proposed methed was applied to the determination of norfloxacin in capsules with satisfatory results.
