Therapeutic effect of cyclosp ionrin A on chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura with diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of cyclosp ionrin A (CsA) on treating chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (CITP) with diabetes mellitus (DM).Methods Seventeen patients with CITP as treatment group were treated with CsA and the other twenty two patients as control group were treated with vincristine (VCR).The total efficiency rate and ndexes of T lymphocyte subpopulation were compared between two groups.Results The total efficiency rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group (P0.05),CD8 + and CD4 + of T lymphocyte subpopulation in treatment group were changed markedly (P0..05,P0.01) before and after treatment,while those in control group were not significant.Conclusion Appalying CsA to treating CITP with DM is a more effective way than using routine method.
