Abstract
If translation can express the shape, hue, style, and rhyme beauty of the mother language, that is the highest requirement for the translation. In order to reach the goal, many translators have tried a lot of methods to keep the translation equivalence with the mother tongue. At present the most popular equivalence theories are Formal Equivalence, Dynamic Equivalence, Functional Equivalence, and Pragmatic Equivalence. They have great influence on limitations in translation.
