Approaching the Differention and Treatment for Chronic Conqestive Heart Failure

Etiology and pathogenesis of heart failure was approached in view of qi-blood-yin-yang theory.The author suggested that the common pathogenesis of heart failure was qi-deficiency combining with yin-deficiency and yang-deficiency,or blood stasis and water flooding in different stages.The general treating principle was tonifying qi to warm yang and promoting blood flow to dissolve stasis and alleviate water retention and laying particular emphasis on different point according to the disease course developing.Determining the treatment based on syndrome differentiation in TCM was the indispensable part in treating heart failure.
